The day after her performance at the Grammy, Lady Gaga revealed, in a program, that Madonna would have sent a letter, which praised her new music.
However, representatives from the author of Hung Up and Celebration, issued a statement denying that the message was sent.
According to British magazine Now Magazine, Madonna's friends have revealed that the singer can't take much more comparisons and thinks that Lady Gaga is actually copying her music.
"She admits that Lady Gaga is a very talented singer and songwriter, but is tired of people who call her "the new Madonna" Revealed some of the friends of the Queen of Pop.
They also said that the 52-year-old-singer thinks that Gaga is pursuing her: "She was very upset last summer, when Lady Gaga rented a house in Hamptons, very close to hers. She begins to think Gaga is pursuing her and is not even a bit happy about it!"
Since her appearance, there were many comparisons between Gaga and Madonna. Still, the two showed a spirit of sport by participating in the comedy show, Saturday Night Live in 2009, in a scene where the two joked about such comparisons.
